He was born on May 8, 1959 in Bremen and grew up in Hildesheim, where he graduated from high school in 1978. To finance his subsequent medical studies, he worked part-time in the sales department of an investment consulting firm until 1982, when he devoted himself entirely to financial consulting.<\/p>\n
