What role does the economy play in this? What can companies do to operate more sustainably? How can the political framework help to set the right incentives for sustainability, and what can each and every individual do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting from the question of what holds the world together at its core, Christian Berg first studied physics and philosophy, and later theology. And how can we change that?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainable Finance as a lever of transformation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainability as a project of the century &#8211; Transformation at all levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Christian Berg has been responsible for the topic of sustainability for many years as Chief Sustainability Architect in the management consultancy of SAP. He has been Visiting Professor for Corporate Sustainability at Saarland University since 2010 and Honorary Professor of Sustainability and Global Change at Clausthal University of Technology since 2008. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among other things, he has advised the former German Chancellor Angela Merkel on sustainable business issues and his most recent book is a report to the Club of Rome. His credo is that sustainability is both responsibility and opportunity for companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>&#8220;Starting into a better future with perspective.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Christian Berg: &#8220;Perspective comes from placing things in contexts. It is important to understand the contexts of today&#8217;s challenges in order to draw the right conclusions. And that always has to do with me &#8211; no matter where I am at the moment and what moves me.
