Barbara Martinuzzi – the “5-Premium-Speakers-Questions”
Born and raised in Italy Barbara Martinuzzi moved to Switzerland in the nineties where she established herself in the world league of Interior Design with her company Martinuzzi Interiors.
What are the core subjects of your keynote speeches?
Interior Design and Art – and the fusion of both domains.
How Interior Design can create unique and bespoke private and commercial spaces reflecting and expressing the personality, the inner self of the people who live and work in them. Like in art, this not only has highly inspiring effects, but also positively influences mental, physical and financial health.
Which audience or which branch do you reach with your speech?
Private individuals who are interested in real estate investments, interior architecture and design, as well as decision-makers in companies and organizations responsible for creating modern workspaces; with an aim to reflect the culture and identity of the company, promote people’s health and technological modernisation.
Why are you a Premium Speaker? Where do you get your insights from?
I get my insights from the many fruitful and instructive years as an entrepreneur, a manager and a mother and from keeping an open mind and never stop learning. My approach becomes more and more holistic and takes living conditions and living standards in its entirety into account. Over time, I have refined the skill of conveying the essential core of interior architecture and design to others, partly due to teaching multiple interns throughout my career.
What will be in the future? Does 'time' play an important role in your work?
As a profession, Interior Architecture and Design are constantly influenced by the zeitgeist and changing design trends. However, I am striving for high-level, thought-thru aesthetics that on the one hand are mindful of the environment and always consider the well-being of its inhabitants, on the other hand incorporate technological progress and change. I believe, the future will bring a convergence of know-how from different fields of expertise, bringing us closer again to ourselves and to nature.
