Our global network – Time and again we are asked how we manage to put these great personalities on the conference stages and book them for events.
It’s an exciting question, because at many conferences and events, global personalities, active and former politicians, show stars and famous footballers and coaches are announced as speakers and then give a presentation or are interviewed.
We have been in the conference and congress business since 2003. Back then, Oliver Stoldt founded the Alpensymposium in Switzerland, which grew to become the most important Swiss business conference after the WEF World Economic Forum. And in 2005, former US President Bill Clinton, a global personality, took to the stage.
This was the starting signal for exclusive conferences and global networking.
In 2009, Oliver Stoldt took over the conference agency Swiss Sales Conferences and developed the small and fine Swiss agency into the European MICE Service Group. And on September 1, 2009, Oliver Stoldt founded the speaker bureau The Premium Speakers Agency. Premium Speakers has been a member of the IASB, the International Association of Speaker Bureaus in the USA, since 2013. The Premium Speakers Agency is the only agency in German-speaking Europe that is a member of the IASB in the USA. This means a worldwide network with the most important agencies around the globe and thus ensures that Premium Speakers has access to all personalities worldwide via the global network.

In German-speaking Europe, it feels like there are around 94 speaker agencies and you will read again and again that the agencies can book the best speakers for your event. This is often the case, but the agencies usually do the rounds via The Premium Speakers Agency. This means that they book the global speakers with us and we have a co-brokering agreement with the agencies. This enables the agencies to book the global speakers for you, otherwise they would not be able to get hold of the personalities at all. Through our membership of the IASB and our quiet work in the background, we support many agencies in their daily work.
