We talked to him about the exact content of these workshops and lectures.

Florian Lanzer in an interview:

1. What are the core subjects of your keynote speeches?

In my speeches I cover a variety of core topics, all closely related to the challenges of today’s business world. The focus is on innovation, strategy, organization, new work, future readiness, resilience, agility, innovation units and corporate venturing.

The goal of my presentations is to help companies strengthen their competitiveness in a constantly changing environment and to successfully navigate through times of change and crisis. This includes the efficient path to innovation, the development of agile strategies and the implementation of new organizational forms. In addition, I provide practical insights and new impulses to question habitual thought patterns, to embrace change and ultimately to blaze new trails.

2. Which audiance or which branch do you reach with your speech?

My presentations are not industry specific. The constant change in today’s business environment and the need to respond to it affects companies of all sizes and industries. Depending on the setting, I reach top management/executive level or business unit managers, strategy or innovation managers. In principle, a broader audience is also possible.

3. Are you a PREMIUM SPEAKER? Where do you get your insights from?

As co-director of the Center for Corporate Innovation at the Management Institute St. Gallen, lecturer and author, I incorporate the latest scientific findings into my presentations. As a partner in the management consultancy venture.idea, I am confronted with what I talk about on a daily basis. I have worked with companies of various sizes and industries. Whether DAX, Fortune 500 or medium-sized companies. From pharmaceutical, financial and trading companies to FMCG and manufacturing companies. This is also reflected in my presentations.

I don’t just impart theoretical knowledge, but practical, proven concepts and methods. And with every project and every presentation, I learn something new that I can pass on to my audience.

4. What will be in the future? Does «time» play an important role in your work?

The future has always been uncertain. But today it seems more uncertain than ever. Increasing complexity and dynamism require companies to reinvent themselves over and over again. What is needed in the future is “dynamic stability. What sounds like a contradiction is actually quite simple: stability comes from being able to adapt to new conditions. The skills to do this can be learned and developed. This makes looking to the future much more relaxed – the keyword is resilience. By the way, this also applies outside of your professional life. So my advice is to have the courage to be consistent in your approach to change.

5. Tell us your life motto? What do you want to give your listeners to take with them?

My motto in life, which I would definitely like the audience to take away with them, is: “Reflection instead of reflex”. It is of great importance to reflect and question things instead of jumping to conclusions – because often our brain or our habits play fatal “tricks” on us and prevent us from doing what is actually right.

In my daily work, I have found that it is rewarding to get to the bottom of things and take different perspectives. Often, a second look reveals new solutions and undiscovered opportunities. This way of thinking also helps us to deal with the complexity and dynamics that surround us today. What seems difficult at first and presents us with great challenges also offers room for new approaches and creativity. It is important to proceed thoughtfully. It is precisely this way of thinking that I would like to convey in my speeches in order to give the audience new impulses.
