Christof Schmid – The “5 Premium Speakers Questions”

Christof Schmid is an expert in story marketing. His mission is to show self-employed people, companies and business leaders how they can become and remain visible in the digital era. He helps them find their core message, position themselves optimally and get noticed via the right channels. We talked to him about his speaking topics and found out which celebrities have inspired him the most.

Christof Schmid in interview: 

1. What are the core subjects of your keynote speeches?

Christof Schmid:

The whole of life consists of change. Who am I today? Who will I be tomorrow? This is what makes us achieve extraordinary feats that we could never have imagined in our wildest dreams. And most of the time, the right story at the right time gives us the idea to take this journey. That’s why the core of my presentations is always about the power of a good story and the opportunities it creates for companies and brands, but also for all of us.

2. Which audience or industry do you address with your speech?

Christof Schmid:

My speeches are aimed at companies and executives as well as end customers. It is important for me to build a bridge between the world of work, career and everyday life in general. I find it particularly exciting to see the influence that good stories have on our lives, no matter in which areas.

3. Why are you a premium speaker and what is your source of knowledge?

Christof Schmid:

I’ve had the opportunity to work with unique companies and personalities in the last few years. In these years the communication for brands such as Disney Theatricals or Cirque du Soleil influenced me a lot. These companies live stories and bring them on stage in an incredibly creative way. This was and is a great source of inspiration for me when it comes to my story method. In addition, working with Tina Turner, Phil Collins or Bryan Adams had a lasting influence on me. But who impressed me the most was the German singer Udo Lindenberg. His personality, his authenticity and above all his empathy are truly outstanding.

 

4. What do you expect from the future? Does "time" play a role in your profession? Or steadiness?

Christof Schmid:

Communication is constantly changing and the ways of communicating are becoming more and more complex. Whether by a tweet, a Whatsapp voice message or “real” conversation from person to person, communication is the basis for everything. In the future, there will be new channels and ways to communicate. Especially when we talk about visions of the future, such as Web3 or the metaverse. Personally, I think that’s great and I’m very much looking forward to it, but I also see great challenges for us as a society that comes with it.

5. What is your motto in life! What would you like the audience to take away?

Christof Schmid:

My motto in life is: You can do it!

It doesn’t matter where you come from, how much money you have or who you know. Everyone deserves to write their own story, live by it every day and find personal happiness!
