Benjamin Bargetzi verbindet wissenschaftliche Tiefe mit unternehmerischem Tempo. Aufgewachsen in der Schweiz, zog es ihn bereits mit 19 nach Asien, konkret nach Singapur, Japan und China. «Meine Neugierde trieb mich hinaus in die Welt», sagt er.
Er studierte Psychologie und Philosophie in Zürich und Singapur, absolvierte seinen Master in Neurowissenschaften, Cognitive and Brain Sciences am University College London und an der University of Oxford. «Im Herzen bin ich Philosoph», sagt Benjamin Bargetzi. «Mich interessieren die grossen Zusammenhänge – und wie der Mensch funktioniert.»
Früh schon beschäftigte sich der Tech-Pionier mit künstlicher Intelligenz und der Frage, was sich alles vom menschlichen Gehirn technisch abbilden und replizieren lässt. Es folgten Karrieresprünge bei Amazon, Google und dem World Economic Forum, wo er an globalen Technologie- und Strategieprojekten arbeitete und als enger Advisor für Chairman Klaus Schwab tätig war.
Benjamin Bargetzi wurde zu einem von Europas meistgefragten Vordenkern für die Schnittstelle zwischen Mensch und Maschine.
Heute entwickelt Benjamin Bargetzi KI-basierte medizinische Software für traumatisierte Menschen in der Ukraine. Die technologische Plattform MindGuard analysiert medizinische, psychologische und physiologische Daten, um hoch individualisierte, KI-optimierte Resilienz- und Heilungspläne für Menschen unter Extrembelastung zu erstellen – in engem Zusammenspiel mit Ärzten und ohne den Menschen dabei zu ersetzen.
Staatlich finanzierte klinische Studien stehen für das junge Start-up bereits im April 2026 vor der Tür — in den Spitälern der Ukraine vor Ort. Bargetzi’s Vision ist klar: «Technologie darf den Menschen nicht ersetzen, sondern muss ihn erweitern.»
