How can you use the presentation strategically – even after the event?

25. August 2025 – Premium Speakers

A powerful presentation inspires, excites – and, in the best case scenario, leaves a lasting impression. But after the event is before the next event. Strategic thinkers know that a professional speaker’s performance does not end with the applause.

In this article, we show you how to reuse the content of a presentation after the event to strengthen internal communication, employer branding, change processes or customer dialogue in the long term.

1. Document content – for a lasting impact

A presentation is a live experience – but that doesn’t mean it only has an impact in the moment. Recordings, summaries and accompanying materials can significantly increase its reach.

Possible measures:

  • Video recording (in full or in excerpts)
  • Photo documentation with quotes and statements
  • Graphic recording or visual summaries
  • PDF slides or thesis sheets for internal reference
  • Blog posts or internal newsletters that reflect on the presentation

We are happy to support you in this – with legally clarified approval and specific recommendations for reuse.

2. Internal communication: anchoring content

Especially for internal events (e.g. management retreats, change formats, strategy days), it is worthwhile to embed the presentation sustainably in internal communication:

  • Follow-up discussion rounds or Q&A sessions to deepen content
  • Team meetings with thought-provoking questions from the presentation
  • Follow-up material from the speaker (e.g. reflection questions, worksheets, videos)
  • Integration into leadership programmes or internal learning platforms

Many of our speakers offer supplementary content – please feel free to contact us for more information.

3. External use: positioning and employer branding

A speaker’s appearance can also make a strong statement in external communications – if it is integrated in a targeted manner:

  • LinkedIn post or article on your company website with highlights from the presentation
  • Video clip with statement, possibly moderated by the speaker themselves
  • Quotes or key visuals for image brochures or website
  • Experience report in customer or industry newsletter

This demonstrates innovative strength, value orientation and commitment to further training – important building blocks in employer branding and customer relationship management.

4. Further development: From lecture to process

A good lecture can be the starting point for change. Take advantage of the momentum:

  • Workshops or follow-up formats with the speaker (e.g. deep dives, project support)
  • Sparring or consulting impulses for management teams
  • Annual impulses with speakers as part of an internal learning format
  • Combination with internal projects, e.g. innovation sprints or change processes

Many speakers from our network are not only stage professionals, but also experienced process facilitators – we would be happy to advise you on how to deepen the content.

Important: The use of recordings, quotations or materials should always be agreed with the speaker or the speaker agency. We clarify in advance:

  • whether and to what extent recordings are permitted
  • what form of publication is desired or prohibited
  • whether additional fees are incurred for media use
  • whether certain platforms (e.g. YouTube, LinkedIn, intranet) may be used.

Our recommendation: Plan the subsequent use before the event so that everything can be integrated smoothly.

The presentation is not an end in itself – it is a strategic communication tool.

A strong speaker can not only inspire in the moment, but also have a long-term impact – if you embed the presentation strategically and think ahead.

As a speaker agency, we not only support you with the booking, but also help you get the most out of the presentation – both internally and externally.
