The first six months of 2025 have come to an end and now it’s time for a break. Time to reflect on the first six months, pause for thought and prepare and plan for the second half of the year. Although planning is no longer as easy as it used to be, because everything in the meetings and events business is becoming more short-term and agility and a good deal of flexibility are prerequisites for successful entrepreneurship.
A major milestone in the first half of the year was the investment in the future of our group of companies with the founding of Peak | Media, the ‘going live’ of Premium Speakers Management and my personal website. Personal branding in our business is becoming more and more central and so my partners at Peak | Media have realised the oliver-stoldt.com website. I am particularly proud of my team, because despite the political and economic capers as well as the international challenges with a daily changing US policy and the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, we can be satisfied with the result in the first half of the year.
The second half of the year is always a little shorter, so things really get going again from 25 August. Until mid-December. These four months are packed with congresses and conferences, and the Premium Speakers support team is also travelling around the world. We are grateful for many global partnerships, which allows us to organise exciting events.
Internally, we still need to do some homework and massively improve our marketing and booking structure to ensure a successful start to 2026. We need to implement new things and tools with clear foresight, strengthen our team and include them in our future plans.
And now? Take a break. The picture shows it. Strength lies in tranquillity on the beach at Ellenbogen on Sylt with a view of the water. Soak up the sun, take a walk on the beach, clear your mind and get going again in August.
