Who is Bernd Breiter?

His career began in the 1990s as a successful music producer, with international chart hits and over 50 gold and platinum awards to his name. But rather than limiting himself to the music industry, Bernd Breiter developed a vision: he wanted to create emotional experiences that bring people together whilst also making complex topics accessible.

With the WORLD CLUB DOME, he achieved exactly that. He transformed stadiums, aeroplanes, trains and extraordinary locations worldwide into immersive experience spaces – culminating in what is arguably his most spectacular milestone: the world’s first DJ set broadcast live from the International Space Station (ISS). For this innovative spirit, he was named a “Nightlife Innovator” by Forbes, among others, and honoured in Hollywood with the Living Legends of Aviation – Wings of Help Award, as well as the Humanitarian Prize from the world’s largest culinary association for his work in connecting culture, cuisine and humanitarian impact.

But Bernd Breiter was never solely concerned with reach or entertainment. In collaboration with institutions such as the European Space Agency (ESA), CERN and international research organisations, he developed formats that make science, technology and society emotionally accessible. His projects have taken him, among other places, into weightlessness, to the Arctic and Antarctic, and to international research platforms.

After more than 13 years at the helm of the WORLD CLUB DOME, he made a conscious decision at the end of 2024: he let go of his most successful project to devote himself to a new, greater challenge – the question of finding one’s bearings in an increasingly complex world.

“I work with decision-makers who sense that authority is no longer enough – and that access is becoming more important than power.”

Within a few months, he developed the Smart Rebel movement from an idea into a fully realised format – virtually without a traditional marketing structure and without a significant budget. In less than ten months, a highly concentrated series of dialogue, networking and experiential formats emerged, involving leading institutions and decision-makers from academia, politics, business and society: Boris Rhein, Minister-President of Hesse, as patron; CERN; the European Commission; Goethe University Frankfurt; ESA astronaut Dr Matthias Maurer; and Sir Richard Branson with a personal video message. The Smart Rebel Convention 2025 in Frankfurt generated nearly ten million organic contacts with around fifty prominent figures – without paid media. The business magazine Business Punk dedicated a double-page spread to the development in March 2026.

Today, Bernd Breiter works with decision-makers from business, politics and society, creating spaces for a change of perspective, dialogue and new forms of leadership.

His talks combine entrepreneurial experience, cultural innovation and systems thinking – and provide answers to a key challenge of our time: how do we connect with a world that we understand, but often can no longer reach?
