Our society. Each of us has a certain picture that immediately springs to mind when we hear this term. In most cases, we think of the population of our own country. Sometimes maybe also that of our own continent. The actual definition of society is, however, coined in significantly broader terms. The term society refers to all those people who live together under a particular set of economic, social or political conditions. A society often possesses a common and very similar idea of ethical issues. Likewise, there may be a common understanding in terms of education, globalisation or even concerning quite different topics such as the acceptance of violence. Our keynote speakers are able to speak competently on these and other implications in the topic of society.
