An interview with Jennifer Treiber-Ruckenbrod
1. What are the core subjects of your keynote speeches?
Guiding question: How do companies win people in a world that is becoming ever more technological?
Keynotes:
1. Desirable in the Age of AI: How companies win people when technology makes everything interchangeable. (Lead keynote)
2. From Customer Insight to Brand Love: What truly moves people, especially in tough times.
3. The Human Edge: How leaders give teams courage, trust and direction through change.
Keynotes 20 to 45 minutes, 60 minutes including Q&A or executive conversation. Leadership training (90 minutes to one day), tailored; deepened through THE LOOM Leadership Day or Retreat.
2. Which audiance or which branch do you reach with your speech?
I speak to boards, C-level leaders, marketing, communications and sales teams, and transformation, innovation and HR executives. Typical formats are conferences, leadership meetings, customer events and executive offsites. My work is especially relevant when organizations want to win people in the age of AI: as customers, as a community and as employees.
3. Are you a PREMIUM SPEAKER? Where do you get your insights from?
More than 25 years with the BMW Group: I have held global responsibility for market and customer research, brand strategy and brand controlling, communications and marketing across Rolls-Royce, BMW, BMW M, MINI and BMW Motorrad, led marketing for BMW Germany and am now Global CMO of MINI on the global Executive Leadership Team. I report to the MINI CEO and lead around 70 people across more than 40 markets. As part of the Executive Team, I helped move MINI from the weakest to the strongest performance versus target in the BMW Group within around 18 months and delivered the Regain MINI brand transformation across more than 40 markets. I have led the AI transformation of our marketing as a leadership task, from an AI operating model to the first fully AI-generated campaign.
My key learning: it rarely fails because of technology, almost always because of how people are brought along. As a systemic coach and business coach, I connect this practice with the question of how leadership moves people through change.
4. What will be in the future? Does «time» play an important role in your work?
AI makes almost everything possible in business and, with it, much interchangeable. Products, content and processes become faster and cheaper, but also more alike. The winners will be companies that stay desirable: that truly understand people, earn trust and have teams with the courage to make clear choices. Time therefore plays a dual role. Organizations must learn and act faster, yet they cannot sacrifice their brand, culture or customer relationships to do so. Leadership’s task is to make this tension productive.
5. Tell us your life motto? What do you want to give your listeners to take with them?
My guiding principle is: Become who you are. Impact is created when we connect technological possibility with human clarity and have the courage to take our own path.
What I want audiences to remember is this: do not wait for complete certainty. Understand your customers, make a clear choice, start concretely and learn quickly. Transformation is not achieved through perfect slides, but through people who take responsibility, mobilize others and translate change consistently into everyday action.
