Arlian Ecker is a passionate environmentalist from Australia who has made it his mission to raise awareness among young people about environmental protection. Arlian is convinced that his generation is the key to change. Only through engaging and inspiring education can children be motivated to become sustainable leaders. Together with his mother Karin, a filmmaker, the documentary “Plastic Alarm” was made. Arlian has shown this film in schools worldwide and has been able to bring thousands of children together with it.

1. What are the core subjects of your keynote speeches?

Arlian Ecker:

As a Gen Z, we will strive for a life, where purpose meets work-life balance and look for companies, whose Employer branding is aligned with our values.

Will talk about how companies can win ‘Gen Z’ by involving ‘consumer branded’ communication channels.
Innovative collaboration models are the key towards Global connections.

My speeches are about Youth Empowerment/Leadership, Sustainable Education and brand involvement with GenZ. Mental Health and Wellbeing are at the top of our topics.

Arlian Ecker:

I get my insights from engaging with experts in the field of science and Innovation and Business Leaders, as well as connection with my generation’s beliefs and values.

I have been an inspirational film presenter about sustainable solutions for 6 years, since the age of 11 years old, as well as a plenary speaker since the age of 13 years old (2019 Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayor’s Forum) Speaker at Corporate, Government, and Public Forums (2021 Circular Economy Forum Brisbane) for the past 6 years (Government Sustainability Forums) (2022 Global Atlassian Leadership Team Meeting) (2022 Day of Good Ideas, Runtastic/Adidas), 260 schools to 100 000s students from 3yr -18yr old, Presenter on camera for 6 years since the age of 11, TV- presenter for national media, moderator of live and online interviews, trainer of Gamechanger Workshops for students and adults, MC at online and live events. MC or speaker at live panel discussions (2022 “The Future of Coral Reefs” Volvo Ocean Lovers Festival Sydney.

4. What will be in the future? Does «time» play an important role in your work?

Arlian Ecker:

Climate Change is an important issue and young generations need to have a voice in decisions making for their future environments. We aim to collaborate now with leaders to incorporate climate impact driven schools curriculum for students, to enable them to be part of impact driven solutions.

Human Connections between people, critical thinking, solution based learning has to be on the forefront in the coming age of AI and shortage of work.
