Charismatic, cosmopolitan, cheerful, as always in a good mood, competent, down-to-earth, serious and likeable – the list of compliments is long when it comes to German TV presenter Mitri Sirin, who is currently the main presenter of the ZDF 7 p.m. “heute” news in Germany.

Mitri Sirin does a good job, he is a real popular figure on German television. Even mishaps are generously forgiven. Under a video published on YouTube, in which the popular presenter allowed himself two small slip-ups, a lady left the comment: “Mitri Sirin, you’re doing a super job and come across worlds better than on your long-running Morningshow. Respect how you embody competence, down-to-earthness and seriousness. You have earned this airtime. Keep it up! Please also with such small sympathetic “breakdowns”.
