I have spent two days in Ulm and was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful city on the Danube.

On Saturday evening, at the invitation of sports director Thorsten Leibenath, “Matchday” between ratiopharm Ulm and Vechta. An energetic game that was extremely exciting. And we were offered a lot in the sold-out arena, in addition to great seats in the business area, fine catering in the lounge and then two and a half hours of excitement on the court. We even got to experience five minutes of overtime, which is rare in basketball.

Sunday was a leisurely day in Ulm with an extensive breakfast and then a 10km walk to discover the city. And what a beautiful city Ulm is, with the cathedral, the Seelengraben, the old town and the lovely cafés.

And this morning we visited the campus of ratiopharm Ulm, the 2023 German basketball champions. It was a real experience to visit such a highly professional high-performance center with the adjoining OrangeCampus, a top modern Conference Center with various conference rooms, perfect for meetings with a supporting program.

And we were also allowed to shoot a few baskets….

Sports director Thorsten Leibenath took a lot of time to show us around the training halls and the Orange Campus. A real WOW experience. You can also create an excellent supporting program for the meetings in Ulm, including the basketball players.
