Presenter Leni Eckstein in an interview with Premium Speakers

06. February 2026 – Mandy Weinand

Leni Eckstein is a presenter by conviction – and out of genuine curiosity about people, topics and stories.

She started her career early: at the age of 21, she began presenting through an internship at a radio station, first behind the microphone and soon after that live on stage. What fascinates her about her job is the special mix of content, personality and moment: structuring events, leading conversations, creating atmosphere and connecting an audience. For her, it’s less about the show and more about presence and genuine listening. Leni prepares thoroughly, but never plans everything down to the last detail – because flexibility is what counts, especially in live situations. When technology fails or the unexpected happens, she remains calm, improvises and often uses humour to carry the moment. This is how she turns moderation into a real experience.

Interview with Leni Eckstein

1. What are the core topics covered in your presentations and lectures?

Leni Eckstein:

The core topics of my talks focus on communication, presence and impact. I speak about how to convey messages clearly, authentically and convincingly – on stage, in professional environments and in the media.

Further key topics include confident performance in live and high-pressure situations, storytelling, audience engagement and handling unexpected moments with ease. These insights are complemented by my many years of experience in radio and event hosting, as well as my work in moderation and media coaching.

2. What audience or industry do you reach with your events?

Leni Eckstein:

My talks and moderations reach diverse audiences from companies, brands, agencies and event-driven environments. I regularly work at galas, corporate events, company celebrations, conferences, trade fairs and public events.

My content appeals to audiences across various industries, including corporate, communication, lifestyle, beauty, sports, culture and entertainment. Thanks to my extensive experience in radio and live events, I adapt my tone, pace and approach flexibly to the occasion, the audience and the atmosphere.

3. Why are you a Premium Speaker presenter and where do you get your knowledge from?

Leni Eckstein:

I consider myself a Premium Speaker because I combine professionalism, experience and personality. For more than 15 years, I have worked live in front of microphones and audiences – in radio as well as on major event stages. This long-standing hands-on experience has given me a strong instinct for content, people and situations, even when things don’t go as planned.

My expertise is rooted in my journalistic training, my daily work in live radio and in more than 100 moderated events across a wide range of formats. In addition, I continuously invest in professional development and work in moderation and media coaching. This combination of experience, preparation and real-stage practice is what makes my appearances reliable, high-quality and impactful.

4. What qualities and skills do you consider most important for being a successful presenter?

Leni Eckstein:

For me, presence and genuine interest in people are the most important foundations. Those who listen can ask the right questions, read the mood and react flexibly. Added to this are spontaneity, a good feel for language and the ability to remain calm even under pressure – especially in live situations.

Preparation and structure are just as important: the better the foundation, the more freely you can act on stage or in the studio. And in the end, authenticity counts – the audience immediately notices whether someone is playing a role or is really there. And: have fun!!!!

5. Tell us your life motto? What do you want to give your listeners to take with them?

Leni Eckstein:

I want to encourage people to show up as they are instead of hiding behind perfection. Not everything needs to be flawless – but it should be real.

When we truly listen, stay present and have the courage to show character, we create genuine connection. That is where moments are born that truly stay with people.
