15. April 2024 – Mandy Weinand

Ronia Schiftan has a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology with a focus on media, work and organisational psychology. She is an expert in media, health and nutrition psychology, lecturer, consultant and co-founder of Externas GmbH. Specifically, this means that she deals with the effects of social media and stress on health behaviour and our diet. She is particularly interested in the development of children and young people. Her work focuses on health promotion, prevention and health psychology counselling. Her lectures and workshops have their finger on the pulse, are critical and have a pinch of humour.

Ronia Schiftan in an interview:

1. What are the core subjects of your keynote speeches?

Ronia Schiftan:

My lectures and workshops are about:

  • Nutrition
  • Nutritional psychology
  • Social media and health
  • Mental health in general
  • Generation Z and Alpha
  • Workplace health promotion
  • Dealing with anxiety, pressure and stress
  • Digitalisation and health behaviour

2. Which audiance or which branch do you reach with your speech?

Ronia Schiftan:

At the internal level, actually all of them (OHM, generation management, nutrition, etc.)
Externally, rather companies that have to do with innovation, food, catering or education and mental health, etc.

3. Are you a PREMIUM SPEAKER? Where do you get your insights from?

Ronia Schiftan:

Science is fascinating and it needs experts who can translate this language and knowledge. Not only can I translate science into practice, I am also a passionate speaker with a great understanding and feel for the audience, great flexibility and a lot of humor. I love getting people excited about complex topics and making them think.

4. What will be in the future? Does «time» play an important role in your work?

Ronia Schiftan:

Our society, the world of social media, nutrition and our generational cooperation are constantly on the move. Time brings transformation and change. A change to which we must always react. Innovation, an alert mind and interdisciplinary cooperation strengthen the potential to deal with this change.

5. Tell us your life motto? What do you want to give your listeners to take with them?

Ronia Schiftan:

“Nothing is as constant as change. Anyone who understands people, can think critically and is open to innovation is ready for change.”

“We humans are so much more exciting than any standards!”
