Volker Busch honored as Speaker of the Year 2021

Prof. Dr. Volker Busch studied medicine in the early 1990s. Back then, he found the brain much more exciting than the ankle. Today, he is a specialist in neurology as well as a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy at the University Hospital in Regensburg.

Among other things, he heads a scientific working group there, works in the institute’s outpatient clinic and holds several additional medical qualifications and specialist teacher training. He is also a member of the Neuroscience Society.

For his humorous delivery and directly usable practical tips, Volker Busch was awarded “Speaker of the Year 2021”.

Volker Busch was elected Speaker of the Year 2021 by the Rhetorik-Akademie Tübingen, with the reason:.

“Mr. Busch presents science in his lectures or publications and podcasts in an understandable, practical, humorous and exciting way, in rhetorical brilliance!”.

Once a year, the prize is awarded by the Rhetorik Akademie Tübingen to the best speaker of the year.

Nationwide, the Rhetorik Akademie Tübingen is the unique competence center for practical rhetoric in business, science and politics. It has a connection to the University of Tübingen, the only chair for communication and rhetoric in Germany.

Already in summer 2019, Volker Busch was awarded the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) – the world’s most recognized quality award for speakers in Denver.
