Florian Inhauser presents since 2007 the main newscast at Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, SRF. Since 2015 he is also the anchor of the foreign news magazine «#SRFglobal». Between 2003 and 2007 he was the UK-correspondent of SRF.

He has also an excellent reputation as an international correspondent, covering conflicts and crises around the globe. Be it – among many others – the euro-crisis in Cyprus, the French war against the jihadists in Mali, the tsunami in the Indian Ocean, presidential elections in Pakistan or the devastating typhoon Hayan on the Philippines.

Between 2007 and 2008 he presented the business program «SRF Börse».

With a master in history and anglistics he speaks English fluently. Until earning his degree he worked a print freelancer writing for a variety of national dailies and weekly newspapers. Between 1998 and 2001 worked as a video journalist and editor at a regional TV-network. In 2002 he joined Swiss public service broadcaster SRF as a news correspondent.
