Lukas Irmler not only talkes about his achievemts, but also about the planning, goalsetting and self-motivation necessary to accomplish such success. Lukas is always looking for new challenges and keeps tackling them utilizing his dreams & visions.

He believes that our biggest potentials are right where our fear is. Accordingly Lukas Irmler lives following the motto „ Do one thing every day that scares you“.

What are the core subjects of your keynote speeches?

Lukas Irmler:

Every man should have a dream! Only with a clear vision for your life you will achieve the extraordinary. But on our way to success most of the time we ourselves are the biggest obstacle. Our fears, uncertainties and expectations are all too often the biggest hurdles to take. But they are also leading us the way towards our greatest potentials for growth & development. How to set effective goals, believe in your dreams and tackle your fears with direct action are my core subjects. My life on the Slackline has also taught me that balance is nothing static, but a dynamic process, a continuous struggle – just as life itself.

Which audience or which branch do you reach with your speech?

Lukas Irmler:

My speech is directed towards anyone, who wants to realize his dreams & visions. This can be the general public interested in sports, but also the CEO or entrepreneur.

Why are you a Premium Speaker? Where do you get your insights from?

Lukas Irmler:

For more than 13 years I have been active as a Slackliner and for almost a decade it has been my profession. A profession I literally invented and which has opened up new perspectives on life for me almost every day. Through numerous record-projects I have learned to always push through boundaries and believe in the seemingly impossible. If you learn to control your fears, as I tackled my fear of heights, literally anything you really want becomes possible.

What will be in the future? Does 'time' play an important role in your work?

Lukas Irmler:

Slacklining is a very young sport, changing very rapidly. Records don´t hold up for long and radical changes have defined my sport over the last years. It is all but easy to stay on top in such conditions and one can only sustain success by continuously reinventing oneself. Doing so without ever loosing touch with one’s identity and core values is key to stay authentic and yet it is important to anticipate trends and be the first to change!

What is your life motto? What would you like to give your listeners on the way?

Lukas Irmler:

– is the motto I am living after. It should remind me every day to leave my comfort-zone, to try new things and to stay curious. Fear is great – it tells us, where our biggest growth potential is. We just haven´t yet dared to tap into it. Always do first what you fear most.

"Do one thing every day that scares you."
