Victoria Riess in interview
1. What are the core subjects of your keynote speeches?
Quantum computing and cybersecurity. I will explain quantum computing, ‘quantum supremacy’ and cryptocurrencies in an understandable and entertaining way. I will also introduce the biggest danger to blockchain from ‘quantum supremacy’. Understanding what new ways are in place to save crypto from ‘quantum supremacy’ and how crypto should prepare for ‘quantum supremacy’ is key to evaluate the facts.
Technology trends and digital transformation. I have five strategic technology trends and three best practices for digital transformation as force multipliers, which CEOs need to create Tech for sustainable growth. First, make an impact by investing in current technologies – whether you need to optimize, scale, or pioneer. Second, drive Digital Transformation. You know that technology is nothing without your leadership.
Cybersecurity. My keynote on the cybersecurity landscape in Germany is based on the trends the world is already seeing. My sharp analysis of the state of IT security contains forward-looking predictions. I will help the cybersecurity industry shape its fight against cyber attackers in 2023.
ESG, digital transformation and leadership. I will explain how the future of corporate governance is defined by digital disruption and sustainability, value and purpose as well as leadership (ESG). I will also introduce how digital disruption changes the accountability of corporate governance and why new board matters are needed. Understanding that the corporate purpose is now to create added value as well as value to society and shareholder value for common good is key to evaluate the facts.
Diversity and inclusion. I will explain why investors and executive boards must see the importance of diversity for good corporate governance. Understanding why supportive measures are needed on the part of policymakers and the companies themselves, as well as a change in society’s awareness and role are key to evaluate the facts. I will also introduce why society would be better served by more male leaders trying to emulate women.
Sports and leadership. I will explain what 7,000 kilometers road bicycle racing told me about leadership.
2. Which audiance or which branch do you reach with your speech?

4. What will be in the future? Does «time» play an important role in your work?
The world needs you again. We are back, and it feels great. These last few years have been quite a ride, haven’t they? The pandemic, social upheaval, climate change, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, rampant inflation, and yet I feel optimistic because in spite of all the crazy of the last few years somehow the world keeps spinning, providing us with opportunities to make an impact with technology.
Force multipliers. Tech force multipliers will help you create that growth but in a different way. Because what does the world, your employees, your customers, your investors need from you, right now? They need Tech for sustainable growth. And now this is where you can really make an impact.
Make an impact and CEO leadership. And all this while the world continues pitching and rolling and well spinning. But it looks a little bit wobbly and probably could use a little help. So I have strategic technology trends and best practices for digital transformation as force multipliers, which you need to create Tech for sustainable growth. First, make an impact by investing in current technologies – whether you need to optimize, scale, or pioneer. Second, drive Digital Transformation. You know that technology is nothing without your leadership.
Tech for sustainable growth. When we put the two together, you get Tech for sustainable growth. Tech force multipliers help you make an impact and perhaps help keep our world spinning on its axis.
5. Tell us your life motto? What do you want to give your listeners to take with them?
“Make an impact with technology!”
Take action and make choices. Even though the world feels kind of wobbly right now, you don’t get to opt out. You have to take action and make choices anyway. I would ask you to resist the temptation to take a step back. Now is the time to take a step forward. I know I am asking you to do a lot, but that’s because there’s a lot you can do. There is a variety of technology trends that you can invest in and best practices for your digital transformation leadership. Now it’s time to make your choices.
You are the ultimate force multipliers. In my keynote, I will show the actions you should take to deliver Tech for sustainable growth: Make an impact by investing in current technologies. And drive Digital Transformation because technology is nothing without your leadership.
Let me tell you something. You can keep the world spinning because really you are the ultimate force multiplier. You are the one that will deliver Tech for sustainable growth. I know you can and I know you will.
