Sabine Christiansen is one of Germany’s best-known television and media personalities. She was for more than 10 years the nation’s top talk show host.

Since 1998 she was producing and anchoring the most influential political TV-discussion on ARD German Television. On her show and Interviews she welcomed nearly all international high-ranked politicians and business leaders: George W. Bush, Angela Merkel, Gerhard Schröder, Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Michael Gorbatschev, Eduard Schewardnadse, Giscard d’Estaing, Kofi Annan, Jeff Immelt, Jaques Welsh, the Dalai Lama, Harry Belafonte, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, Salman Rushdie or Tony Blair and many others.

She is widely connected to international politics and business affairs, so are her language skills in English, French or Spanish.

The trained economic editor was the first German journalist, who had her own program on the worldwide business channel CNBC “Gobal Players”.

She started her national career as the top news anchor for ARD-TAGESTHEMEN and author of a series of international documentaries. Since then, she led this prime-time programme on Sunday night to the highest rated discussion on national television.

Since more than 25 years she is personally very much engaged in social affairs with her own foundation for children’s rights, being the Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF Germany, Vice-Chairwoman of the Laureus Sports Foundation and being engaged in a lot of executive children-foundation boards or advisory councils.

For her journalistic work she has been awarded and repriced with every high ranked journalistic award in Germany like the Grimme Preis, the Bambi or the Golden Camera. Alongside her work she has been decorated in many parts of the world for her social engagement with the highest national medal “Bundesverdienstkreuz” as well as a member of the French “Foreign Legion”, the “price of all religions”, the international woman’s award of the Gorbatschev foundation etc.
