After completing his training and studying sports journalism at Macromedia University in Munich, Uli Hebel started his career early at Sky Sport News and Sport1 FM. He has been a permanent member of the DAZN commentary team since 2016 and commented on the 2023 Champions League final live from Istanbul, among other events. At the same time, he works as a Premier League commentator for Sky, has been running the Klick&Rush podcast since 2014 and was named ‘Germany’s Best Commentator’ by SportBild in 2024 – also for his work in international boxing.
As a lecturer in ‘Live Reporting’ at the Bavarian Press Academy and Macromedia University, he passes on his knowledge to the next generation.
