Jonas Geissler – Why the future of businesses is a question of time

Jonas Geissler is THE leading expert in the German-speaking world when it comes to managing time within organisations. As a SPIEGEL bestselling author, speaker and organisational consultant, he combines scientific insights with practical application – and reframes one of the central questions of our time:

How can companies be effective without burning themselves out in the process?

Jonas debunks outdated myths about time and shows why time cannot simply be managed – but is instead the decisive lever for innovation, health and sustainable success.

Jonas Geissler Lecture topics

  • Time is Honey – Making the Most of Your Time

Busy days, a head full of chaos, a frantic standstill?
Jonas Geissler shows how constant stress can be turned into focus, exhaustion into real value creation, and fragmented work into effectiveness and satisfaction.

  • AI takes time – Why the success of Artificial Intelligence is a question of time culture

More pace, more output, more tools – and yet we still lack time?
This talk shows how we can avoid the efficiency trap and how companies can use AI in a way that promotes innovation, impact and effectiveness rather than overload, intensification and rushing.

  • Everything has its time – only I don’t have any! – how we can get out of the rat race and back in the driver’s seat

Actually, I lead quite differently, but I so rarely get the chance. Leadership in constant reaction mode: dictated by others, timed, with no room for what really matters.
Jonas Geissler shows why leadership is, above all, about managing time and how operational chaos can be transformed into effective leadership.

  • Are we still ticking over correctly? – why our health is linked to how we manage our time

Constant rushing, packed diaries and yet dwindling energy.
This talk shows how time pressure can be turned back into balance, rushing into sustainable effectiveness, and a lack of time into genuine satisfaction.

  • Time for innovation – why new ideas need a different logic of time

Constant pressure leaves no room for new ideas.
Jonas Geissler shows how operational density can be transformed into breathing space, how packed days can become fulfilling days, and how this lays the foundation for genuine innovation.

His central message: It’s all a question of time.”

Whether companies want to become more innovative, productive or healthier – how they manage time determines whether they succeed or not.

Yet this is precisely where the problem lies for many organisations: they speed up processes, intensify workloads and boost efficiency – and in doing so lose exactly what they actually set out to gain: focus, clarity and effectiveness. In a working world full of constant stress and endless meetings, Jonas Geissler shows how companies can regain real impact: with focus instead of hecticness, clear structures instead of constant availability, a modern approach to time, and value creation instead of exhaustion.

It is precisely the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence that is making this issue even more pressing: never before has it been so easy to speed up processes, produce content and prepare decisions. Yet this is precisely where the opportunity lies – and the danger, too. Those who use this newfound speed merely to get even more done in even less time are exacerbating existing problems. Those who, on the other hand, consciously shape it can create a new quality of work: greater focus, greater clarity and greater real impact. Jonas Geissler shows how organisations are using this acceleration to fundamentally change the way they manage time – and to develop a genuine competitive advantage from it.

For time is not just ‘money’ – a means of payment – but above all ‘honey’: a staple. And that is exactly how it should be treated.

So what is the story behind this phenomenon, which seems to be growing ever scarcer even though new time is created every day? How has our approach to time changed – and what answers do organisations need today?

In his talks, Jonas Geissler combines academic depth with practical application. He demonstrates which time management skills really matter in an accelerated world and how a successful time culture can be shaped in concrete terms.

His talks provide:

  • immediately actionable strategies for greater productivity and composure
  • clear insights for more effective collaboration and better decision-making
  • new ways of thinking that bring about lasting cultural change

In doing so, he achieves what few speakers can: he inspires, challenges and motivates all at once. With astute analysis, humorous ease and practical tools, the ‘Zeitweise’ ensures that his audience not only thinks differently – but works differently too.
