Bruce Dickinson is not only the frontman and lead singer of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden, the Briton is also a pilot and entrepreneur. Among other things, he is the man behind Cardiff Aviation Ltd, which specializes in the maintenance of Airbus and Boeing commercial aircraft and aims to create jobs in Wales in cooperation with the government. With over 85 million records sold and almost 2000 live concerts, Iron Maiden is one of the most successful heavy metal bands in the world.

Dickinson became a member and lead singer of Iron Maiden in 1981. After twelve years he concentrated on new paths and started a career as a solo musician, pilot and entrepreneur. He returned to the band in 1999. The band completed the 2015/2016 world tour with “Ed Force One”, a specially converted Boeing 747, which transported the band, crew and all the equipment and was flown by Dickinson. He is still active as an entrepreneur in the aviation sector and supporter of start-ups.
