Justinas Miseikis – The “5 Premium Speakers Questions”

08. July 2026 – Astrid Berndt

Dr. Justinas Miseikis is a Physical AI and robotics strategist as well as a deep-tech pioneer.

As Strategy & Partnerships Manager at Sony in Zurich, he combines technological expertise with entrepreneurial thinking and helps turn research from leading AI labs into tangible products and business models. With a PhD in Robotics and Computer Vision, an Executive MBA, more than 40 patents and international experience across seven countries, he is one of the experts who not only explain AI, but also build, scale and commercialize it.

His focus is on Physical AI – artificial intelligence that moves beyond screens and becomes effective in robots, autonomous systems and intelligent machines. As a speaker, moderator and host of TechDrive Zürich, Justinas Miseikis shows executives, companies and boards which AI applications are realistic today, where strategic opportunities lie and how organizations can successfully leverage the next technological leap.

Interview with Justinas Miseikis:

1. What are the core subjects of your keynote speeches?

Justinas Mišeikis:

My core subject is Physical AI. Artificial intelligence is leaving the screen and entering the physical world: robots, autonomous systems, machines that see, decide and act. I show executives what is real today, what is coming in the next three years, and which decisions their boards need to make now.

Around that core, I speak about AI strategy without the hype: what today’s AI can actually do, where it fails, and which use cases genuinely pay off. I cover how to scale AI beyond the pilot stage, and how corporations and startups can build partnerships that actually ship products.

Every talk is built on the same principle. AI is not an IT problem to solve. It is a strategic business decision to make.

2. Which audience or which branch do you reach with your speech?

Justinas Mišeikis:

I speak to the people who have to make decisions about AI, not just understand it: boards, executive committees, and strategy and innovation leaders. My talks work for technical and non-technical audiences alike, because I have spent my Career translating between those two worlds.

Industry-wise, Physical AI touches every business with physical operations: manufacturing, logistics, pharma and medtech, retail, construction, insurance and finance. I also speak regularly at technology conferences, investor events and innovation summits.

The common thread is simple. If your company will be affected by robots, Automation or AI in the next five years, this is for you. And that is almost every company.

3. Are you a PREMIUM SPEAKER? Where do you get your insights from?

Justinas Mišeikis:

Because I have built what I talk about. I spent over a decade developing robots and AI systems, first as a researcher with a PhD in Robotics and Computer Vision, then in industry, with more than 40 patents along the way. Today I work at the other end of the chain: at Sony in Zürich, I turn research into products and partnerships.

My insights come from three places. From doing the work myself. From the boardrooms and strategy discussions I sit in every week. And from the people I interview on my show TechDrive Zürich, where founders, investors and researchers tell me what is really happening in European deep tech.

I am also an advisor at the Humanoid Robotics Association and Humanoid Robitcs World Championship 2026 in Zürich. When I stand on a stage, nothing I say is second-hand.

4. What will be in the future? Does «time» play an important role in your work?

Justinas Mišeikis:

The future of AI is physical. The next wave after generative AI gives machines a body: humanoid robots, autonomous systems, machines working alongside people. The technology is moving faster than most boards realise.

Time plays a double role in my field. The technology moves in months. Organisations move in years. That gap is where companies win or lose, and closing it is what my work is About.

But the deeper answer is consistency. I learnt this watching Japan: pick a direction, commit to it, improve every day without drama. The companies that win with AI will not be the ones that react fastest to every headline. They will be the ones that keep walking in the same direction the longest.

5. Tell us your life motto? What do you want to give your listeners to take with them?

Justinas Mišeikis:

My professional motto is on every stage I speak from: AI is not an IT problem to solve. It is a strategic business decision to make.

My personal motto is simpler. Build first, talk second. I have lived and worked in seven countries, and everywhere the pattern is the same: the people worth listening to are the ones who have actually built something.

What I want listeners to take home: you do not need to understand everything About AI to act. You need to make one real decision. Pick your direction, start small, start now. The window for shaping how AI transforms your industry is open today. It will not stay open forever.
