Before moving to the political arena, the woman of action Anja Wyden Guelpa worked at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Seco), was a strategy and change management consultant at IBM Business Consulting and general director of social affairs in the Canton of Geneva, where she was responsible for 400 employees and managed a budget of 1.5 billion dollars.
Anja Wyden Guelpa studied political science in Geneva and Tübingen and after completing her masters she obtained a master in public management. She is perfectly bilingual in French and German (as well as Swiss German). She speaks perfect English and understands Italian perfectly and can communicate effectively.
