Boris Becker, born 1967, in Leimen, Germany is a former German professional tennis player and one of the most successful players in tennis history. In 1985, at just 17 years old, he became the youngest player ever to win the Wimbledon tournament, instantly making him an international star. Over the course of his career, he won a total of six Grand Slam titles, including three Wimbledon titles, two Australian Open titles, and one US Open title. In 1991, he reached the No. 1 spot in the ATP world rankings and was part of the German team that won the Davis Cup in 1988 and 1989.

After retiring from professional tennis, Becker worked as a coach and analyst, notably coaching Serbian star Novak Djoković from 2013 to 2016, during which time Djoković won six Grand Slam titles. He also worked as a commentator and analyst for various TV networks.

Aside from his sporting achievements, Becker has also made headlines due to financial and personal issues. In 2017, he was declared bankrupt, leading to legal proceedings and a later conviction for insolvency-related offenses. After serving a prison sentence in the United Kingdom, he was released early in 2022.
