She is considered a pioneer for equality in the media, led and initiated the largest diversity project chance50:50 at SRF and founded the Edit-a-thon for more women on Wikipedia, for which she received the Digital Female Leader Award in Germany.

She is primarily committed to digital education, technological progress and gender equality in working life, whether in her #aufbruch column for Ringier or as an advisory board member of the Institute for Digital Business at the HWZ. In 2018, she initiated the first Swiss edit-a-thon “Women for Wikipedia”.
