Gordon Herbert is the national coach of the German national basketball team and coached the team to its first ever world title at the 2023 FIBA World Championship in Japan / Philippines.
On their way to gold, the German basketball team sensationally won 113:111 against the NBA stars from the USA in the semi-finals. In the World Cup final, Gordon Herbert and the German “Dream Team” were crowned unbeaten basketball world champions.
