Maria Höfl-Riesch was already on skis at the age of three. During her active career, she won several Olympic medals and world championship titles, making her one of the most successful female ski racers of all time.

Successes & career
Maria Höfl-Riesch celebrated her greatest successes at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver 2010 (2 x gold) and in Sochi 2014 (1 x gold and 1 x silver). She is also a two-time world champion (2009 in Val d’Isère and 2013 in Schladming) and won the overall World Cup in 2011. She has won a total of 10 medals at the Olympic Games and World Championships and has won 27 World Cup races. She won the overall World Cup in the 2010/11 season.
After ending her career in 2014, she accompanied the ARD sports programme as a winter sports expert for 5 years. She designed a Maria collection with the fashion company Bogner and her own sportswear with the mail-order company OTTO. Since 2015, she has regularly travelled on cruises on Hapag-Lloyd’s MS Europa 2, where she trains with the guests on board. For years, Maria Höfl-Riesch was a brand ambassador for Audi and the luxury watch brand Hublot. To this day, she also maintains a great partnership with the Kitzbühel fashion company Sportalm, the functional underwear manufacturer UYN and the well-known ski brand HEAD.
