Her career began with international beauty titles – including Miss Germany and Miss American Dream, personally presented by Donald Trump. But Verona Pooth quickly proved that she had far more to offer than just beauty. As a presenter, she made her mark on the German television landscape, and as a book author she landed on the Spiegel bestseller list with Die SuperMILF and Nimm dir alles, gib viel!
She got her start as a singer back in the 90s. She released six singles under the stage name Chocolate, including the gold hit Ritmo de la Noche. In addition to her TV career, Verona Pooth was co-producer and presenter of the successful More Than Talking format on Magenta TV. Her podcast Poothcast – um Kopf und Kragen, which she co-hosted with her son San Diego, remained in the top 10 for 53 weeks.
In 2024, she entered a new stage – as a speaker. She gave her first PowerPoint presentation in front of 15,000 people on the Greator stage without ever having given a presentation before. Her motto: “Some things in life you only get asked once – say yes first and then you sort out the rest.” The audience rewarded her with a standing ovation.
Since then, she has been regularly booked as a speaker, including for the Power Days and the OMR Festival. International requests, including from Dubai, show the great response to her talks.
Verona Pooth doesn’t just talk about success – she lives it. As an entrepreneur, she gave an insight into her career in the business magazine Capital. With over 13 successful advertising contracts, she is one of the most sought-after brand ambassadors in Germany. Her famous advertising campaign for 11880 shaped advertising and even made it into the Duden dictionary with “Da werden Sie geholfen”.
But the project closest to her heart is her social commitment: she raised over one million euros for an SOS Children’s Village in Bolivia, which now provides a home for 112 children. Stern TV accompanied her on this milestone, and the village was named Veronas Casitas (Verona’s Little House) in her honor.
Verona Pooth is currently also active as a testimonial, entrepreneur and developer for the skincare brand Pacific Healthcare, whose CEO is her husband Franjo Pooth.
