Beate van Loo-Born is a seasoned executive in financial services and data with over 20 years of experience in European, Asian and US financial centres. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles at top-tier organizations, including serving as COO of the Swiss Stock Exchange’s data business (SIX), as Head Strategic Programs at UBS and COO at Climate Arc. 

Driven by a relentless pursuit of creating global positive impact for organizations, people and the planet, she has integrated her deep expertise in sustainability, finance and data to consistently deliver strategic solutions driving global transformation in both large corporations and emerging startups. In her pursuit of clarity, Beate van Loo-Born has acquired multiple post-graduate degrees, including an Master’s in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, an MBA from the Sorbonne, an executive MBA from the Swiss Finance Institute. Currently a PhD candidate at the University of Antwerp, she continues to explore the levers financial services can utilize to mobilize private capital towards climate finance.
