Dr. Christian Schlicht is CEO & Founder of Beyond Tech, an expert in Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) and Facility Management (FM) with international management and practical experience in the corporate and start-up environment.
The all-rounder juggles several visionary innovation programmes. He built the first blockchain in the property industry. He is already testing robotics & AI in property operations. In his doctoral thesis, he developed a model to measure the added value of CREM and FM in the company’s success.

Christian Schlicht is involved in specialist committees and was President of the CoreNet Global Central Europe Chapter (CNG) from 2021 to 2023.
With a doctorate in industrial engineering and an eye for complex projects, he has more than 20 years of experience and was CEO & founder of REGUL.AI GmbH until its successful exit (04/2022).
Prior to this, he was responsible for property management at tool retailer Würth for almost eleven years and for almost six years as Director of Centre Management and Facility Management at ECE Projektmanagement GmbH & Co. KG, one of the largest property developers in Germany.
His successful use of distributed ledger technology, robotics and AI in the property sector has earned him the ZIA (German Property Federation) Innovation Award three times.
In his doctoral thesis, he developed a model for measuring the added value of property management in terms of corporate success.
In 08/2022 he founded Beyond Tech GmbH. As a metatech start-up, BYND-Tech provides its customers with BYND-Site, the central, geospatial knowledge platform, an intelligent solution for controlling and managing existing property and asset portfolios. Through the holistic analysis of additional data sources & information, it orchestrates the structured, knowledge-driven identification of new assets, including the assessment of potential in connection with the digital, ESG-related transformation of properties & assets for the change to a regenerative business model.
Since 10/2023, Christian Schlicht has headed the ‘Sustainable Real Estate Management’ degree programme at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in the Online-Plus department.
