He is currently Founder, Member of the Steering Committee and Exponential Master Mind of the AI Startup HUB in Hamburg, where he works together with leading AI experts and supports 30 AI startups annually in their work on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection. As an advisor to the Donors’ Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany, he is committed to the transformation of our education and science system.

He laid the foundations for his innovation mindset by studying applied computer science and mechatronics and earning a doctorate in microsystems engineering. Through his work as CEO of the private university of the Hamburg economy, the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration, he is a connoisseur of the science system. Through his function as former CEO of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, Uve Samuels is well acquainted with the requirements of the business community in all industries.
