Nimrod Malinas belongs to a new generation of entrepreneurs who not only think about technology – they implement it in real industry.
As founder and CEO of Robonnement, one of Europe’s first robot-as-a-service companies, he has installed over 200 industrial robots in factories in the DACH region and made automation accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises.
His lectures combine entrepreneurial reality, technological vision and an extraordinary personal story – from construction worker to Forbes founder.
Nimrod Malina’s Lecture topics
- The democratisation of robotics
Why robot-as-a-service is changing an industry that for decades was only accessible to large corporations – and why SMEs in particular are now benefiting from automation.
- Robots are not coming – they are already here
Practical insights from over 200 real-world installations in European factories and what automation actually means for businesses.
- Man and machine
Why robots do not replace jobs, but take over dangerous and unhealthy tasks.
- From construction worker to Forbes 30 Under 30
An extraordinary start-up story about loss, courage and the journey from a €1,200 monthly wage to CEO of an international technology company.
- New business models for industry
How the Robot-as-a-Service model transforms CAPEX into OPEX and radically lowers investment barriers for companies.
- Generation Z and the future of industry
Why a new generation of entrepreneurs is changing traditional industries – and why purpose, responsibility and technology belong together.
His story is as extraordinary as it is inspiring:
Born in Romania, Nimrod Malinas’ family lost everything when his father’s company went bankrupt when he was 20 years old. Without capital or contacts, he initially worked on construction sites in Austria – for £1,200 a month. During this time, he stuck a printed Forbes 30 Under 30 logo on his fridge door. Five years later, his name was actually on the list.
At just 22 years of age, he took over a 90-year-old Swiss industrial company without any equity capital and developed it into a fast-growing robotics company. Today, his company serves international customers such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Schneider Electric and has raised over €15 million in financing.
Nimrod Malinas is considered one of the most influential young voices in industrial transformation in Europe. Instead of talking about future scenarios, he shows on stage what is already reality: how robots are taking over dangerous work, why small and medium-sized companies suddenly have access to high-tech – and why technology does not replace people, but creates new opportunities.
