Yaël Meier is a Swiss entrepreneur, actress, journalist and one of the best-known voices of Generation Z in the German-speaking world.
She is co-founder of ZEAM, the leading Gen Z agency that helps companies such as Porsche, Migros and Allianz to better understand and successfully address young target groups. Her mission is to talk to young people and not about them.

Before Yaël Meier co-founded ZEAM, she was active in various creative and media fields. Even as a teenager, she played leading roles in Swiss film productions, including the drama “Upload” and “Blue My Mind”.
Parallel to her acting career, she worked as a journalist for “Blick”, where she wrote her own column and hosted a podcast. She also worked for the SRF YouTube format “Zwei am Morge” and wrote articles for various Swiss media.
This experience in the media world and her feel for social trends laid the foundation for her later success as an entrepreneur.

Her book “Gen Z”, which Yaël Meier published together with her partner Jo Dietrich and four other editors, became a SPIEGEL bestseller. Yaël Meier has received several awards for her work, including as a LinkedIn Top Voice and in the Forbes “30 under 30” list.
She is the mother of two children and lives in Zurich with her partner.
