He was involved with digital technologies and business models even before founding Google. After leading digitalisation and innovation strategies in large companies and start-ups, he launched SPARK & STRATEGY in 2012. The company offers consulting and coaching in the areas of strategy, digital transformation, branding and communication on digital channels and social media for leading brands such as Credit Suisse, Swiss Life and BMW.

His endless curiosity and enthusiasm for new technologies led him to found SwissMine AG in 2013, one of the first blockchain start-ups in Switzerland, which developed ATMs and payment options for the use and provision of cryptocurrencies. The first prototype is now in the MoneyMuseum in Zurich.

He has nearly 25 years of international experience in strategy, branding, marketing and innovation in traditional and disruptive industries.

Prior to founding THE RELEVANCE HOUSE, German worked for Zurich Financial Services Ltd. where he was Global Head of Digital Marketing and a member of the executive team responsible for the company’s digital strategy worldwide. His professional career spans various industries – from global wine and beverage marketing to cosmetics and e-commerce. He has worked with leading global companies as well as several successful start-ups.

He is a recognised subject matter expert in strategy, branding, digitalisation, social media and blockchain technology. He teaches courses and appears as a guest lecturer at many renowned academic institutions.
