Lars Tvede is a professional investor, author and a serial entrepreneur who over the last 30 years has founded a string of companies within telecommunication, software development, property and finance.

Lars Tvede spent 11 years in portfolio management and investment banking before moving to the high-tech and telecommunications industries, where he co-founded several technology companies that have won numerous international awards, including Wall Street Journal Europe Innovation Award, Red Herring Global 100 Award and Swiss IMD Startup Award.

In 2016, he co-founded the venture capital fund Nordic Eye, which produced over 100% cash return in its first full year and won the Investor of the Year Award in 2018.

Lars obtained a Master’s degree in Engineering from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University of Denmark and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Copenhagen Business School. While pursuing these two degrees in parallel, he also founded two start-ups. Later in life, he also became a certified derivatives trader and professional asset manager.
